Elect Lisa VanWhy candidate for Pennsylvania House of Representatives - 189th legislative district.

Lisa lives in East Stroudsburg with her husband Scott. She and her husband are proud parents of two children, Scott II and Jessica.

​

Lisa served 8 years: 2, 4-year terms as an East Stroudsburg School Board Director in Monroe County. One year as chairman and 2 years as vice chairman. While in office Lisa had served in many committees, which include: the Finance committee, Policy committee, Properties and Facilities committee (chair of the facilities committee for 4 years), as well as many negotiation committees.

During those 8 years of being on the East Stroudsburg School Board she was a part of Monroe Career and Technical Institute Joint Operating Committee (JOC); one year as chairman and one year as vice chairman. While being a part of the JOC she was simultaneously on Building and Grounds committee, and along with several negotiation committees.

Lisa currently owns and operates a small business, a salon, in the borough of East Stroudsburg for the last 20 years. Along with a few rental properties her and her husband of 37 years own and manage.

Her legislative priorities include small business support, education /curriculum, school property tax issues and will fight to protect your Freedoms, Rights and Liberties.
